So Eldon was looking pretty shaggy there for awhile. Erin and Cole came over for a haircut, well more so I could show Erin the clippers, and Cole HATED it. But when we were done Eldon sat in the chair, so he got a clipper cut too. =) It was so weird for the first week for me to look at him with short hair... But look how stinking cute he is! He looks like a little kid now, no more little baby. =( This was seriously how bad I let his hair get! I could almost put a pony in the back it was so long!
My husband and I were married in November of 2004 in beautiful Sedona, AZ. We currently reside in Mesa, where Cory attends grad school AT Still University. He is studying to become a physical therapist.
I am a hair stylist and currently working at opening my own salon in Gilbert.
We have a little boy named Eldon Charles, who takes up every minute of my day. He is so amazing. I love being a wife and a mommy.
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with grass stains on my shoes from mowing Sister Schenk's lawn. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbor's children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someones garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived." -Marjorie Hinckley
(Thanks Brea for the wonderful quote. I heard it in Relief Society and you had it onyour blog, so convenient, I had to borrow it.)
